Pricing
For now, invited accounts use leapCAT without payment.
Payment is not open yet, so nothing can be bought here today. The price below is the one that will apply once payment opens: one payment for one book translated into one target language, with the exact amount shown before you pay.
leapCAT manuscript translation (priced by source length)

What one payment will include
One source version, one target language, and the translation scope shown in your quote. Included: context and terminology preparation, translation, independent review, the final check, and DOCX download.
How translation units are counted
One translation unit is one English word, or the same amount of text in another language. Your source is counted in its own language (words; Chinese characters and kana one each; Thai letters six to one) and multiplied by that language's published factor, so the same content costs about the same whichever language it is written in. The quote shows the count, the factor, and the units.
A free quote first
Once payment opens, uploading your manuscript shows the unit count and the amount before you pay. The quote costs nothing.
Refunds and exchanges
Before translation starts, you get a full refund. After it starts, the share not yet translated is refunded, and any share we fail to provide because of our error is refunded in full. There are no exchanges. See the refund policy for every rule.
