leapCAT refund and exchange policy

1. What this policy covers

The purchase costs 17 KRW per source translation unit, VAT included, with a minimum of 10,000 KRW per payment, paid once by credit card. One purchase covers one source version, one target language, and the translation scope in the quote. The service period is 90 days from the payment date.

2. Before translation starts

If translation has not started, the full payment is refunded by cancelling the card payment, regardless of how much time has passed.

3. After translation starts

The share of the purchase not yet translated is refunded: refund = payment amount × (untranslated units ÷ paid units). Amounts below 1 KRW are dropped.

4. Results we fail to deliver

If we cannot deliver a result for part of the purchase because of our error or an outage, the amount for that part is refunded in full. If you prefer, we redo that work instead.

5. After the service period

Units not processed within the 90-day service period can still be refunded under rule 3 after the period ends.

6. Exchanges

Because this is a digital service, there are no exchanges. If a result has a problem, we redo the work or refund it under the rules above.

7. Limits on withdrawal of the purchase

For parts where the translation has already been provided, withdrawal of the purchase is limited under Article 17(2)5 of the Korean Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Etc. You can check the free quote before payment and the public translation examples in advance.

8. How refunds are paid

Refunds are made by cancelling the card payment and are processed within 3 business days after we confirm the request.
