How leapCAT handles your account, source, and translation data

1. Information we process

• Account reference and profile information supplied through Replex Accounts, such as email address and sign-in state.
• Source and target text, language direction, project instructions, answers, terminology, edits, versions, and export records.
• Workspace state, product usage, device and browser information, access time, error records, and security logs.
• Email address, message, and reply history when you contact support.

2. Why we process it

• Create and maintain your account and workspace.
• Analyze the source, propose a direction, translate, review, run quality checks, save edits and versions, and generate exports.
• Prevent abuse, protect accounts, diagnose failures, and improve reliability.
• Respond to inquiries and provide product notices.

3. AI and service providers

To perform analysis, translation, review, and quality checks, leapCAT sends the source, instructions, and relevant workspace context only to the AI provider selected for that task. The production configuration supports Google AI, Anthropic, OpenAI, and DeepSeek. Google Cloud hosts the service and private storage in the Seoul region; Replex Accounts handles sign-in and account state; Sentry handles filtered error monitoring; Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics handle the bounded website events described below; and Resend may deliver service email when that function is enabled.

These providers process only the information needed for their configured role. Actual active providers can change with product configuration, but a provider does not receive workspace content unless a task is routed to it. We do not sell your source or translation data.

Do not submit personal information or confidential material that is unnecessary for the translation. You remain responsible for having the right to use and translate the submitted source.

4. Retention and deletion

Workspace content is retained while needed to provide the project and let you resume the work. When you delete content or your account, or request deletion, we delete or de-identify the relevant information without undue delay unless a legal obligation, dispute, fraud, or security investigation requires limited retention. Backup copies are removed through the ordinary backup lifecycle.

5. Sharing and international processing

We do not provide personal information to an independent third party for that party's own purpose unless you direct us to do so, applicable law permits or requires it, or we notify you and obtain any consent required by law.

Direct AI APIs and monitoring or analytics services may process the minimum account, device, error, source, instruction, or workspace context outside Korea when their task requires it. Transfer occurs over an encrypted network when you use the relevant function. Replex applies the provider contract and technical safeguards and will update this policy when the active recipient, country, legal basis, or retention arrangement materially changes.

6. Automatic collection and analytics

On the production domain, Google Tag Manager may load Google Analytics after the page becomes interactive. The configured events use a sanitized page path and categorical product actions and are designed not to send source text, translation text, account identifiers, file names, access tokens, or signed links. Browser settings or content-blocking controls may limit cookies and similar storage, although this can affect measurement.

7. Security measures

Replex uses access controls, encrypted transport, private storage, least-privilege service identities, monitoring, and deletion workflows appropriate to the service. Error monitoring is configured not to send default personal information and filters common source, prompt, translation, email, token, and file-name fields.

8. Your choices and contact

9. Changes to this policy

We publish changes on this page with a new effective date. If a change materially affects your rights or how source and translation data is processed, we will provide additional notice through an available service or account channel where required.
